The roots of New Giesler Corporation start at the Robinson Corporation of Garwood, NJ. Robinson was a small manufacturer of stainless steel welding fittings. They moved to Roselle Park, NJ during World War II and continued to manufacture at that location. Taylor Forge bought the Robinson Corporation around 1952 and moved the operation to Somerville, NJ. Leo Giesler, an executive at Robinson, stayed in Roselle Park with some key personnel, and became an industrial pipe, valve and fitting distributor. After Leo passed away, the family sold the company, and it was re-named The New Giesler Corporation. In 1968 Frank Cusmano, along with an investor, purchased the company.
In 1983, the company moved from Roselle Park to the current, newer and larger facility in Kenilworth, NJ. The company is still family owned and operated.
